The end of the Michaelmas term was marked by a wonderful
Xmas dinner held in the Woodard Forum for the last time. The food was excellent
and the banter free flowing. Deigned a blacktie event, the boys brushed up
well, while the girls proved to be the belles of the ball with some stunning
dresses on show.
During the dinner we bid farewell to Mrs Jean Palin who
leaves us to spend more time with her grandchildren. We will miss her sense of
humour and dedication to the house – oh and her hours helping students with
their maths homework during her suty night. She often went beyond the pale to
help out and we wish her well
